Description
A desert town of sandstone and adobe under a bright midday sky. One shot takes a sandy square hemmed in by flat-roofed houses with small blue-shuttered windows, wooden crates set out as cover, palm trees casting hard shadows and a bomb target painted on the ground; a rock face rises behind the far building. Another runs along a narrow lane between two long walls of pale plaster, ending at a wooden door, with jagged mountains on the horizon. A third looks down on a stone quarter with a polygonal tower, arched windows filled with carved lattice screens, heavy timber doors and a shallow pool of water under an arcade. The last stands in front of a large building whose front is a colonnade of round arches on a broad flight of steps.
The map measures 4416 × 3424 × 864 units, smaller in footprint than de_dust (5584 × 6144 × 832) and about as low. Sixteen counter-terrorist and sixteen terrorist spawns seat 32 players. Two bomb sites, no hostages or rescue zones, and the map marks buy zones for both teams. Geometry runs to 6,723 faces and 71 textures, all of them packed into the .bsp; de_dust comes to 5,550 faces and 30 textures. The sky is a desert backdrop. Interactive furniture is sparse: one ladder brush, 15 animated sprite props and 10 ambient sound emitters. Besides the .bsp, the archive installs a models folder and 4 ambience sounds.
