Description
The blade is wrapped in snake skin: rows of rust red scales crossed by black and pale yellow bands that run over both faces and stop short of the bare steel point. Handle and guard stay dark, and the ring on the guard is the part by which a bayonet slides onto a rifle barrel.
The view model holds 2,879 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 38 bones, over sixteen textures: three hand maps at the stock sizes under the porter’s file names, and thirteen separate pieces of the knife, among them 1024×177 and 1024×194 strips for the two faces of the blade, a 1024×94 strip for its spine and a 152×641 map for the ring. There is no chrome map. The idle runs 150 frames and every other slot 28. What other players see was rebuilt as well, at 2,202 polygons where the stock third-person knife has 112, and the nine knife sounds ship with the archive. Nothing covers the dropped knife, so on the ground it stays standard.
