Description
The blade is teal from the guard almost to the point, where it darkens to near black, and its whole surface carries a dense weave of fine concentric lines closer to wood grain than to any polish. The steel guard keeps the ring by which a bayonet slides onto a rifle barrel, and the hands wear the plain black fingerless gloves of the base game.
The view model holds 2,879 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 38 bones, under sixteen textures. Three redo the glove, the fingers and the skin; the rest are separate pieces of the knife, among them 1024×177 and 1024×194 strips for the faces of the blade and a 152×641 map for the ring. There is no chrome map. The idle runs 150 frames, the draw and each attack 28. The third-person model was rebuilt to 2,202 polygons where the stock one has 112, and the nine knife sounds ship with the archive. Nothing replaces the dropped knife, so on the ground it stays standard.
