Description
The blade is white and polished, with black and pale blue tracery running down both faces like the lines of a printed circuit, and a small red marking near the guard. The guard and pommel are left bare steel, and the ring on the guard is the part a bayonet slides onto a rifle barrel by.
The view model holds 2,879 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 38 bones, and sixteen textures divide the work between them. Three are the stock hand maps under the porter’s own file names; the rest are separate pieces of the knife, among them 1024×177 and 1024×194 strips for the two faces of the blade and a 152×641 map for the ring. There is no chrome map. The idle runs 150 frames and the draw 28. What other players see was rebuilt too, at 2,202 polygons where the stock third-person knife has 112, and the nine knife sounds come along. Nothing covers the dropped knife, so on the ground it stays standard.
