Description
Deep red covers the lower half of the blade while the spine and the false edge stay bare steel, and a band of fine mesh runs along the fuller with the oval lightening hole open near the point. The guard is grey steel and keeps the ring by which a bayonet slides onto a rifle barrel, and the hands wear the plain black fingerless gloves of the base game.
The view model holds 2,879 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 38 bones, with sixteen textures laid over it. Three cover the glove, the fingers and the skin under the porter’s own file names; the other thirteen split the knife into pieces, among them 1024×177 and 1024×194 strips for the two faces of the blade, a 1024×94 strip for the spine and a 152×641 map for the ring. There is no chrome map. The idle runs 150 frames and every other sequence 28. What other players see was rebuilt as well, at 2,202 polygons where the stock third-person knife has 112. The archive stops there: no dropped-knife model, so on the ground it stays standard.
