Description
The blade is a hard electric blue that lifts to pale cyan along the edge, printed on both faces with angular tracery and block lettering that read like a circuit diagram. The guard is a plain black bar, and the ring on it is the part by which a bayonet slides onto a rifle barrel; the hands are the game’s own black fingerless gloves.
The view model holds 2,818 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 40 bones, under fourteen textures. The two faces of the blade take 200×989 and 204×1001 maps, the handle and the collar around it are split into smaller files, the three hand maps are the stock ones, and a 64×64 chrome map adds the mirrored sheen GoldSrc fakes on metal. The idle runs 360 frames and the draw 30. What other players see was rebuilt too, at 1,512 polygons where the stock third-person knife has 112, and the nine knife sounds are in the archive. There is no dropped-knife model, so on the ground it stays standard.
