Description
The blade shifts from green at the guard through turquoise to blue at the point, and red lettering is laid along a pale hatched fuller that runs most of its length. The guard and pommel are left bare steel, and the ring on the guard is the part by which a bayonet slides onto a rifle barrel; the hands are the game’s own black fingerless gloves.
The view model holds 2,879 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 38 bones, spread over sixteen textures rather than one atlas. Three of them are hand maps at the stock sizes under the porter’s own file names; the rest are separate pieces of the knife, among them 1024×177 and 1024×194 strips for the two faces of the blade, a 1024×94 strip for its back edge and a 152×641 map for the ring. There is no chrome map. The idle runs 150 frames and the draw 28. What other players see was rebuilt as well, at 2,202 polygons where the stock third-person knife has 112. The archive carries the two model files and no sounds, and nothing covers the dropped knife, so on the ground it stays standard.
