Description
The blade is black with a line of small yellow contacts running along both edges and a band of etched rectangles in the middle, laid out like the pads and components of a circuit board. The grip carries the same yellow dots at the guard, and the ring on that guard is the part a bayonet slides onto a rifle barrel by.
The view model holds 2,879 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 38 bones, under sixteen textures rather than a single sheet. Each face of the blade gets its own 1024-wide strip, 1024×177 on one side and 1024×194 on the other, the spine gets 1024×94, and the ring a 152×641 map; the hands keep the stock game maps at 252×123, 124×126 and 252×255. No 64×64 map is present, so nothing fakes a mirrored sheen on the metal. The idle runs 150 frames, every attack and the draw 28. The third-person model was rebuilt to 2,202 polygons where the stock one has 112, and nine knife sounds are in the archive. There is no dropped-knife model, so on the ground it stays standard.
