Description
The gradient starts as plain steel behind the guard, warms through orange and crimson across the middle of the blade and ends in a short violet band at the point, with the fuller catching a lighter reflection along the way. Guard, ring and grip are left dark and untouched by the colour, and that ring is what a bayonet slides onto a rifle barrel by.
The view model holds 2,879 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 38 bones, spread across sixteen textures. The gradient itself lives on two long strips, 1024×177 and 1024×194, one per face, with a 1024×94 strip along the spine, while the ring and the smaller parts of the hilt get maps of their own down to 152×641. The hands are the stock game maps at their original sizes. There is no chrome map, so the sheen is painted into the gradient. The idle runs 150 frames and everything else 28. The third-person model was rebuilt to 2,202 polygons where the stock one has 112, and nine knife sounds come with the archive. Nothing replaces the dropped knife, so on the ground it stays standard.
