Description
The whole blade is gold, from the ricasso to the clipped point, polished enough that the fuller reads as a darker channel and the false edge as a bright line; a small crest and a line of fine lettering sit on the flat next to the guard. The guard itself and the ring on it are left grey steel, and that ring is what a bayonet slides onto a rifle barrel by.
The view model holds 2,879 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 38 bones, and sixteen separate textures rather than one atlas. The gold is carried by 1024×177 and 1024×194 strips, one per face of the blade, with a 1024×94 strip on the spine; the ring has a 152×641 map and the box of the hilt a 272×468 one. The hand maps are the game’s own, at 252×123, 124×126 and 252×255. There is no chrome map, which means the metallic look is entirely in the painted texture. The idle runs 150 frames and every attack 28. What other players see was rebuilt to 2,202 polygons where the stock third-person knife has 112, and nine knife sounds ship with it. No dropped-knife model is included, so on the ground it stays standard.
