Description
Bright enamel blue covers the lower part of the blade and the ricasso while the spine and the point are left bare grey steel, and a strip of yellow mesh is set into the fuller like a vent panel. The paint stops in a clean straight line rather than fading, which is what makes the knife read as a made part instead of a treated one; the ring on the guard is what a bayonet slides onto a rifle barrel by.
The view model holds 2,879 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 38 bones, and the texture work is split sixteen ways. The blue and the mesh sit on two 1024-wide strips, 1024×177 and 1024×194, with 1024×94 along the spine; the ring, its rim and the pommel get 152×641, 208×339 and 132×268 respectively, and the hands stay on the game’s own maps. There is no chrome map, so the enamel gloss is painted. The idle runs 150 frames, the draw and every attack 28. What other players see was rebuilt to 2,202 polygons against the stock 112, and the nine knife sounds ship with the archive. There is no dropped-knife model, so on the ground it stays standard.
