Description
The blade is a pale sandy tan, closer to limestone than to metal, and rows of dark hieroglyphs run the length of it in two registers with a scarab-like seal at the base of the flat. The grip is the same sand colour with a woven texture, while the guard and pommel stay grey steel, and the ring on the guard is what a bayonet slides onto a rifle barrel by.
The view model holds 2,879 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 38 bones, over sixteen textures. The two 1024-wide strips, 1024×177 and 1024×194, hold the hieroglyphs on either face, a 1024×94 strip does the spine, and smaller maps take the ring at 152×641, the hilt box at 272×468 and the guard plate at 260×143; the hands stay on the game’s maps at 252×123, 124×126 and 252×255. There is no chrome map. The idle runs 150 frames and the other seven sequences 28 each. The third-person model was rebuilt to 2,202 polygons where the stock one has 112, and nine knife sounds are included. No dropped-knife model is in the archive, so on the ground it stays standard.
