Description

Sandstone courtyards in the desert style familiar from the stock maps: cobbled paving, walls of large pale blocks with a carved band running along them, rows of blind arched niches, heavy wooden double doors and wooden crates left in the corners. A stack of concrete pipes lies against one wall, a torch burns in a bracket over another, and painted graffiti covers a section of masonry. The sky is not the same in every frame: some show blue with drifting cloud, others a heavy purple storm over the same walls, which fits a map named after two days.

The map is 2592 × 2400 × 368 units and is built from 3,070 faces on 29 textures, two of them embedded in the .bsp. Each side has 16 spawn points, so 32 players. There are no bomb sites, hostages or rescue zones, and buy zones are on auto, so the engine puts them at the spawns. Only a G3SG1 and an M249 lie on the floor. The interactive layer is built around destruction: 40 breakable objects, plus five pushable crates, three sprite effects, two see-through blocks and a ladder. Besides the map, the archive installs its own sprites.
