Description

A cartoon town rebuilt in the engine, textures drawn as flat colour with black outlines instead of photographic materials. The centre is a square with a bronze statue of a man on a plinth, framed by grass beds and a road painted with double yellow lines. Around it stand shopfronts: a cinema with a spiked yellow and magenta marquee, a small supermarket, a coffee shop with a cup sign, a bowling alley with a red roof and giant pins along the wall, and a bright red circus tent. Two cooling towers with atom symbols rise behind the treeline in one shot, and a lattice radio mast in another. The trees are single green blobs, the sky is a plain blue with painted clouds, and the light is flat noon daylight.

The map measures 5420 × 6280 × 1936 units, a footprint slightly larger than de_dust2 (4864 × 5600 × 960) and twice as tall. 16 counter-terrorist and 16 terrorist spawns seat 32 players. Two bomb sites, no hostages, and the map marks buy zones for both teams itself. Geometry is 15,896 faces over 125 textures, two of them packed into the .bsp, so it is roughly three times the polygon count of de_dust2. Water is present as 12 separate brushes. Beyond that the map runs eight ladders, six doors, two moving train objects, two teleport triggers, a rotating mechanism, two beam effects and 37 ambient sound emitters. Besides the .bsp the archive installs models, 17 sound files, its texture .wad and a radar overview.
