Description
A Mediterranean village on a hillside in clear daylight: cream stucco walls, terracotta pantile roofs, green shutters and doors, cobbled lanes. One frame stands in a small square where a bronze equestrian statue rises on a stone plinth from a shallow fountain basin, with a plaque set into it; another follows a stepped street along a rough stone retaining wall, past trestle tables and crates of tomatoes, green hills closing the view; a third looks across the tiled roofs, which are walkable. Below the village the map opens a stone tunnel lined with wine racks, and a cellar room with a plank floor, carpets, barrels, bookshelves and stacked crates where the hostages are held.
The map is 2231 × 4648 × 589 map units, a long narrow strip with a low ceiling, and everything reads along its length. Twelve spawns per side seat 24 players. There are only two hostages here, with one rescue zone and no bomb sites; the map has no buy zones of its own, so the engine places buying at the spawns. Geometry comes to 7,111 faces and 112 textures, all embedded in the .bsp, next to 8,528 faces and 102 textures in cs_italy. Nineteen breakable objects and six pushable crates furnish the streets and the cellar, and three bodies of water include the fountain. Along with the map the archive installs its own models and ambience sounds.
