Description
A driving map with a bomb scenario laid over it, and the shots show three quite different places. One is an underground garage of grey stone and concrete, roller shutter at the far end, a single lamp on a cable, and two rows of dark hatchbacks and coupes parked nose out. Another leaves the buildings behind: a stone road runs out of a pine forest and onto a red steel truss bridge thrown across a rocky gorge, with a caution sign hung on the portal. A third follows the same road as it curves between hedges and firs towards a white house with a tiled roof, mountains closing the valley. The fourth is downtown, a paved street with a yellow centre line, a brick office block with tall arched windows, a concrete overpass and a garage entrance with the bomb site marked beside it.
The map measures 7868 × 7824 × 3424 units, larger in every dimension than de_aztec (7328 × 4432 × 2368), which is the roomiest of the stock maps. 16 counter-terrorist and 16 terrorist spawns seat 32 players. Two bomb sites, no hostages, buy zones marked for both teams, and two AWPs lying on the ground. Geometry is heavy: 14,875 faces and 98 textures, all packed into the .bsp, against 5,383 faces in de_dust2. Sixteen drivable vehicles, two moving trains, two rotating mechanisms, five doors, six ladders, four breakable objects, two bodies of water and one teleport make up the moving parts, and the scenery leans on 114 sprite props and 78 non-solid pieces, with 54 ambient sound sources. Besides the .bsp the archive installs some thirty models, two folders of sounds, several sprites and a radar overview.
