Description
A city block built around things you can ride. One shot is an underground garage: rough grey concrete floor and walls, strip lights along the ceiling, two open-top sports cars parked in the middle and a row of kick scooters in yellow, red and blue standing against the far wall. Another is a long covered hall lined with tall industrial facades of grey concrete and barred windows, with concrete ramps and low blocks edged in yellow and black hazard stripes set out across the floor like a skate park, and a rectangular pool of blue water at the end of it. A third steps outside into the street after sunset: a brick building with its windows lit, a blue glass tower behind it, block lettering standing on the roof edge, and the same rough concrete underfoot.
The map measures 7680 × 7808 × 3136 units, larger in every direction than de_aztec at 7328 × 4432 × 2368, and the tallest thing in the reference set. 16 counter-terrorist and 16 terrorist spawns seat 32 players. There is one bomb site rather than two, no hostages, and the map marks buy zones for both teams. The vehicles are real entities, not props: 12 of them, which is what the scooters and the cars are for. Geometry is 6,088 faces on 98 textures, 69 of them packed into the .bsp, against 5,383 faces in de_dust2. Water is a single volume. Alongside the vehicles the map carries eight breakable objects, five ladder brushes, two doors and six non-solid decorative pieces.
