Description
A cinema built as a real building is reproduced here down to its signage. Outside, a glass curtain wall fills the whole front above a run of wide concrete steps, advertising bands cross the glazing, and trees crowd the approach; another frame comes at the same block from the side, past precast concrete fence panels and a strip of grass under an overcast sky. Inside, the lobby is striped blue and white with square columns, folding chairs and stacked speaker cabinets, and a mezzanine railing carries a DJ console; the snack bar is done in crimson and blue with a long counter, a chilled cabinet and film posters on the wall; the auditorium has rows of black seats, a crimson stage apron and a wide white screen.
The map is 3507 × 2814 × 906 map units, compact by the standards of the engine, and almost all of it is interior. Counter-terrorists get twelve spawns and terrorists eleven, so the map seats 23 players. Four hostages and two rescue zones set the objective, there are no bomb sites, and the map has no buy zones of its own, so the engine places buying at the spawns. Geometry comes to 4,218 faces and 96 textures, all embedded in the .bsp, next to 3,206 faces and 182 textures in cs_assault. The fittings are what fill the entity list: 89 non-solid decorative brushes, 61 sprites, 44 animated props, 19 ambient sound sources and 17 breakable objects. Along with the map the archive installs its own models, sounds, sprites and the radar image.
