Description

An arena cut into a snowfield: a flat white floor between two low walls built of crates and ice blocks, with snow-capped mountains and open water in the skybox. Painted lettering on the ice marks the CT and T sides. One frame looks up at an AWP crate hovering over the middle of the field on a small ice platform; another drops into a low ice tunnel where a metal grating in the floor works as a teleport.

The playing area is 1696 × 1424 × 576 map units. Sixteen spawns per side seat 32 players, as many as a standard server takes. There are no bomb sites and no hostages, and both teams have buy zones. The floor is stocked with 26 AK-47s and 26 M4A1s, plus an AWP, body armour, two flashbangs, a smoke and an HE grenade. Geometry is minimal at 509 faces and 16 textures, five of them stored inside the .bsp, against 5,383 faces in de_dust2. Two teleports link parts of the arena, and the archive brings its own sounds along with the as_tundra.wad texture pack.
