Description
A photograph of a nebula is wrapped over the blade: deep blue clouds scattered with white stars, brightening towards the edge, while the ring and the butt of the grip shift into violet and pink from another part of the same sky. The gloves are black with dark red padding, a strap over the back of the hand and a small red mark on the cuff. The karambit comes from Southeast Asia, its curved blade following the line of a tiger claw, with a ring at the butt for one finger.
The view model holds 3,939 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 40 bones, under 28 textures. The glove, the fingers and the skin are redone at 512×256, 256×256 and 512×512, larger than the stock game asks for; the other 25 textures are separate pieces of the knife, with 712×120 and 700×119 bands on the ring and 416×400 and 412×402 maps on its two faces. There is no chrome map. The idle runs 268 frames and the draw 29. The third-person model comes at 1,975 polygons where the stock one has 112, on 12 bones, and the nine knife sounds are in the archive. Nothing replaces the dropped knife, so on the ground it stays standard.
