Description
The knife is black from tip to ring, with a soft grey sheen along the curve of the blade and no colour or pattern anywhere on it; the model itself is rounder and more detailed than the usual port, with a visible bevel down the edge. It sits in dark tactical gloves with hard knuckle pads and a textured back, and the sleeves are navy blue rather than bare forearms. The karambit comes from Southeast Asia, its curved blade following the line of a tiger claw, with a ring at the butt for one finger.
The view model is very heavy for the engine: 34,542 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 38 bones. Only four textures serve all of it, each 512×512 pixels: the arms, the glove colour, the knife itself and a separate silvery map for the metal, so there is no 64×64 chrome sheet here. The idle runs 318 frames, the draw 24, the slashes 28 and 29, the stab 29. The archive holds the view model alone, with no sounds, no third-person model, which leaves the knife standard in other players’ hands, and nothing for the dropped one either.
