Description
Despite the name, red takes up very little of this knife: the blade is black with a faint darker swirl worked into the lacquer, and only the collar behind the edge and the inner face of the grip burn bright crimson. The finger ring stays black, and the hands are in plain black gloves. The karambit comes from Southeast Asia, its curved blade following the line of a tiger claw, with a ring at the butt for one finger.
The view model holds 3,939 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 40 bones, under 28 textures. Three of them are the hand maps at their usual sizes, 252×123 for the glove and 124×126 for the fingers; the rest split the knife into pieces, with 712×120 and 700×119 bands wrapped around the ring and a 552×299 map on the widest part of the blade. There is no chrome map. The idle runs 268 frames and the draw 29. The third-person model was redone at 1,975 polygons where the stock one has 112, on 12 bones, and the nine knife sounds are included. No dropped-knife model is present, so on the ground it stays standard.
