Description
The blade is rust-brown and mottled, as if the steel had been left out in the weather, and a scrawl of white and red lettering runs across its upper half. The grip and the finger ring carry the same corroded coat, while the hands wear black gloves with dark red padding, a wrist strap and a small red mark on the cuff. The karambit comes from Southeast Asia, its curved blade following the line of a tiger claw, with a ring at the butt for one finger.
The view model carries 3,939 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 40 bones, split across 28 textures. Three of them redo the glove, the fingers and the skin at sizes up to 512 pixels square, above what the stock game uses; the rest are separate pieces of the knife, among them 712×120 and 700×119 bands for the finger ring. There is no chrome map. The idle runs 268 frames and the draw 29. What other players see was rebuilt too, at 1,975 polygons where the stock third-person knife has 112, on 12 bones and a single idle frame, and the nine knife sounds ship with the archive. Nothing replaces the dropped knife, so on the ground it stays standard.
