Description
Turquoise and magenta run over the whole knife: the blade is turquoise with a magenta lattice of crossed lines and a small line of text near the guard, while the grip carries a dotted magenta halftone and the ring turns turquoise again. The hands are in plain black gloves. The karambit comes from Southeast Asia, its curved blade following the line of a tiger claw, with a ring at the butt for one finger.
The view model holds 3,939 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 40 bones, under 28 textures. Three of them are the hand maps at 252×123, 124×126 and 252×255, the sizes the stock game uses; the other 25 are pieces of the knife, among them 712×120 and 700×119 strips for the ring, a 564×213 map along the spine and a 184×150 patch on the guard. There is no chrome map. The idle runs 268 frames, the draw 29 and the missed stab 35. The third-person model is rebuilt at 1,975 polygons where the stock one has 112, on 12 bones, and the nine knife sounds ride along. The dropped knife has no model here, so it stays standard on the ground.
