Description
The blade is pale steel with red running down it in streaks and spatter, heaviest at the hook and thinning towards the tip, and a red plate on the guard carries a small dark emblem. The karambit comes from Southeast Asia, its curved blade following the line of a tiger’s claw; the grip and the finger ring are left black, and the hands wear the game’s usual black fingerless gloves.
The view model holds 3,939 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 40 bones, under twenty-eight textures. Three are hand maps at the sizes the stock game uses, under the porter’s own file names; the other twenty-five are separate pieces of the knife, the widest of them 712 and 700 pixels across. There is no chrome map, the 64×64 file GoldSrc normally takes a mirrored sheen from. The idle runs 268 frames and the draw 29. What other players see was rebuilt at 1,975 polygons where the stock third-person knife has 112, and the nine knife sounds are in the archive. There is no dropped-knife model, so on the ground it stays standard.
