Description
The colour is turquoise rather than blue: the curved blade darkens to navy along the spine and lightens to bright cyan at the tip, printed with rings and hatching that read like a circuit trace, and the handle and finger ring are cast in the same turquoise. The hands are the plain black fingerless gloves of the stock game. The karambit comes from Southeast Asia and its curve follows the line of a tiger claw.
The view model holds 3,939 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 40 bones, which keeps it light for the engine despite twenty-eight textures. Three of those are the stock hand maps at 252×123, 124×126 and 252×255; the other twenty-five split the knife into separate pieces, from a 108×518 sliver to a 712×120 strip. There is no chrome map. The idle runs 268 frames, the draw 29 and every attack 35. Nine knife sounds ship with the archive, but there is no third-person and no dropped model, so for other players and on the ground the knife stays standard.
