Description
The blade is left bare white steel and sprayed with red: fine droplets near the point, heavier smears along the belly, and a solid dark red running over the guard, the ring and the whole grip. The karambit comes from Southeast Asia, its curved blade following the line of a tiger’s claw, and the back of each glove carries a pale tan panel where the game’s own glove is black.
The view model holds 3,939 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 40 bones, under twenty-eight textures. Three are hand maps at the sizes the stock game uses, under the porter’s own file names; the remaining twenty-five are separate pieces of the knife, the widest of them 712 and 700 pixels across. There is no chrome map, the 64×64 file GoldSrc normally takes a mirrored sheen from. The idle runs 268 frames and the draw 29. What other players see was rebuilt at 13,938 polygons where the stock third-person knife has 112, on a single 512×512 map, and the dropped knife uses that same mesh. The archive holds the three models and no sounds.
