Description
The whole knife is black on black: camouflage blotches in slightly lighter grey break up the curved blade near the tip, and the handle, the guard and the finger ring are left flat dark, with a ribbed patch where the fingers close. The hands are in plain black fingerless gloves. The karambit comes from Southeast Asia, its curved blade follows the line of a tiger’s claw, and the ring at the end of the handle takes a finger.
The view model holds 3,939 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 40 bones, under twenty-eight textures: the three stock hand maps of the game and twenty-five separate pieces of the knife, among them 712×120 and 700×119 strips for the bands around the grip and 416×400 and 412×402 maps for the ring. There is no chrome map, so the dark surface has nothing reflective on it. The idle runs 268 frames and the draw 29. The third-person model was rebuilt to 1,975 polygons where the stock one has 112, and nine knife sounds come with the archive. Nothing replaces the dropped knife, so on the ground it stays standard.
