Description
Tongues of flame in orange and red climb the black blade from the guard towards the tip, thinning to single licks near the point, and a few of them carry over onto the ring end of the handle. The karambit comes from Southeast Asia, its curved blade following the line of a tiger’s claw, and the ring a finger goes through stands clear of the glove.
The view model holds 3,939 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 40 bones, under twenty-eight textures. Three are hand maps at the sizes the stock game uses, under the porter’s own file names; the rest are separate pieces of the knife, the widest of them 712 and 700 pixels across. There is no chrome map, the 64×64 file GoldSrc normally takes a mirrored sheen from, so the light on the flames is painted rather than reflected. The idle runs 268 frames and the draw 29. What other players see was rebuilt at 13,938 polygons where the stock third-person knife has 112, on a single 512×512 map, and the dropped knife uses that same mesh. The archive holds the three models and no sounds.
