Description
The blade carries a digital camouflage of magenta and near-black squares, coarse enough that the individual blocks stay readable at arm’s length, and the guard plate, the ring and the catch below it are painted the same magenta. The ring is the part by which a bayonet slides onto a rifle barrel.
The view model holds 2,879 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 38 bones, under sixteen textures: 1024×177 and 1024×194 strips for the two faces of the blade, 1024×94 for the spine, a 152×641 map for the ring, and three hand maps at the stock sizes under the porter’s file names. There is no chrome map. The idle runs 150 frames and every attack 28. The third-person model was rebuilt to 2,202 polygons where the stock one has 112, and nine knife sounds are in the archive. Nothing replaces the dropped knife, so on the ground it stays standard.
