Description
The whole blade is a single saturated red, with the fuller and the grooves behind it drawn in near black and the ring on the guard picked out in orange. The name promises chrome, but the surface reads as flat lacquer rather than a mirror; the ring itself is the part by which a bayonet slides onto a rifle barrel.
The view model holds 5,081 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 38 bones, under seventeen textures. Two 1024-wide strips carry the faces of the blade, a 152×641 map the ring, a 272×468 map the grip, and one file is only 64×64. The idle runs 150 frames and the stab 28. There is no third-person model in the archive, so in other players’ hands the knife stays standard, and none is provided for the dropped knife either. What does ship alongside is a set of seventeen M4A1 sounds rather than knife sounds.
