Broken rock slabs hanging in complete blackness. There is no sky and no horizon: the arena is a set of cracked stone plates, splintered like shattered glass, with red-hot fissures glowing along the seams and steep cliff faces dropping into nothing at the edges. In the middle of the field a rough wooden cross is planted, burning at its foot, and the flame is the brightest thing in the map. One shot looks across the field toward the cross and shows a skull picked out in glowing lines on the surface of the plate; another comes up close to the cross and the fire; a third steps back and reveals that the central plate is a separate column with a gulf on either side of it.

The map measures 3971 × 5585 × 3570 units, tall for an arena of this footprint. 20 counter-terrorist and 20 terrorist spawns seat 40 players, and the map marks buy zones for both teams itself. There are no bomb sites, hostages or rescue zones. Geometry is 6,052 faces and only 11 textures, all packed into the .bsp, so the face count sits near de_aztec (6,262 faces) while the material list is a fraction of the usual. What is set up around the player: five sprite emitters and two animated models for the fire and the glow, two water brushes, three breakable objects, one teleport trigger and a game_player_equip that hands out the starting gear. The archive also installs models, sounds and sprites of its own.
