Description
An open yard of grey concrete walled in by slabs painted with black and yellow hazard stripes, with a sandstone wall on one side and a blue sky with light cloud overhead. A long row of wooden crates stencilled with flammable-goods warnings closes off the far side, a grey door panel marked SECURITY stands in the middle of the yard, and beside it a board shows an M249 with an arrow pointing at the door. Dozens of dropped machineguns lie across the floor; one frame is taken from a narrow corridor between two striped walls, where the guns are laid out in rows. Nothing in the layout pretends to be a real place.
The map measures 2624 × 1184 × 832 units, a narrow strip of ground. Sixteen spawns per side seat 32 players. There are no bomb sites, no hostages and no rescue zones, and buy zones are set to auto, which means the map marks none and the engine puts them at the spawns. Sixty-seven M249s lie on the floor, and picking one up is the whole exercise. Geometry is only 580 faces and 13 textures, two of them packed into the .bsp, an order of magnitude below de_dust2 (5,383 faces); 56 of the 165 entities are breakable crates. The sky is the stock TrainYard and the archive installs the .bsp alone.
