Description
A side-scrolling platformer world rebuilt in three dimensions. Flat-topped blocks of bright green grass sit on orange earth columns with black cracks drawn on them, arranged as plateaus of different heights with narrow gaps between; green pipes with black mouths are sunk into the lawn, rows of brick blocks and question-mark blocks float in the air or form a staircase up a slope, and a narrow channel of blue water runs between two of the plateaus. Everything is drawn in the flat, high-contrast colours of a sprite sheet rather than as any real material. Weapons lie all over the grass and on the ledges. Bright day under a pale clouded sky.
The map measures 1984 × 1408 × 768 units, tiny even next to cs_italy (2896 × 5216 × 944), which is the smallest of the stock maps. Ten counter-terrorist and ten terrorist spawns seat 20 players in that space. There are no bomb sites, hostages or rescue zones, and buy zones are on auto, so the engine places them at the spawns: the weapons on the ground are the entire economy of the map. There are 18 pickups across 12 kinds, from a TMP, an M4A1 and an AK-47 up to two M249s, two G3SG1s, two P90s and a pair of grenades. Geometry is light at 794 faces and 17 textures, 15 of them packed into the .bsp, where de_dust2 runs to 5,383 faces. One water brush handles the channel. The sky set is the stock TrainYard. The archive adds a radar overview.
