Description
A bedroom built at the scale of a mouse, so the furniture becomes the terrain. A double bed with a blue blanket takes up a whole quarter of the floor, a wooden shelf unit rises next to it like a tower block with books, boxes and small parcels on its levels, and short ladders are propped between the shelves to climb from one to the next. The floor is grey tile with a black and yellow cable snaking across it, a ceiling light panel hangs overhead, and daylight comes through a window with a bright pane. Other frames show a desk with a lamp, a bunk against the wall, an aircraft picture in a frame, a potted plant on a shelf and a yellow wardrobe standing open with a red-lit interior and more ladders inside.
The room measures 2112 × 4072 × 1248 map units, so the ceiling stands higher than the whole of de_dust2, which tops out at 960. Geometry is 3,686 faces and 87 textures, roughly two thirds the faces of de_dust2 and twice its texture count, which is what a room full of distinct props costs. Twelve spawns per side seat twenty-four players, there is one bomb site and no hostages or rescue zones, and the map has no buy zones of its own, so the engine places them at the spawns. Ten ladders carry the climbing onto the furniture and twelve objects are breakable, with a moving brush, a rotating one, a water volume, an animated sprite prop and two non-solid decorative brushes. The sky texture is trainyard, and the archive installs a set of models with the map.
