Description
A whole stretch of mountain countryside rather than a single site. Steep green slopes and grey limestone cliffs drop into a gorge where a river runs blue-green over concrete weirs and spillways; stands of conifers cover the ridges, power lines are strung from pylon to pylon, and stone houses with tiled roofs and shuttered windows sit on ledges above the water, one of them a low technical building set right on the dam. Another shot leaves the valley entirely: a stone lighthouse stands on a sandy spit at the foot of a wooded cliff with open sea running to the horizon. Bright day, blue sky with scattered cloud.
The map measures 8064 × 8064 × 7584 units, which is the engine box filled almost to its limit and by far larger than de_aztec (7328 × 4432 × 2368). Eighteen counter-terrorist and seventeen terrorist spawns seat 35 players. Two bomb sites, no hostages, buy zones marked for both teams, and two AWPs lying on the ground. Geometry is thin for that volume: 3,632 faces and 107 textures, 76 of them packed into the .bsp, where de_dust2 spends 5,383 faces on a far smaller area, so this is broad terrain rather than dense detail. The sky set is mon_sky_. Interactive parts include 13 ladder brushes, six doors, five teleport triggers and 28 non-solid decorative pieces, with 61 sprite effects, 35 sprite cyclers and 51 ambient sound sources filling the landscape. The archive installs 17 models, sounds, three sprites, its own .wad and a radar overview.
