Description
A working main-line passenger railway station, rebuilt in detail. One shot looks down into the old booking hall: white columns and mouldings, a tall arched window, gilded chandeliers on chains, twin escalators beside a marble staircase, departure boards on the walls and a floor of red and grey tile laid in nested squares. Another stands in the newer concourse, a bright shed with skylights on steel trusses, hanging direction signs and glass kiosks with blue frames stocked with goods. Two more are out on the platforms under a blue canopy: long-distance coaches in white with a magenta stripe, a locomotive at the head of a train, ballasted track, an overbridge and city buildings behind, and a board with arrival and departure columns and a clock. Daylight throughout.
The map measures 5392 × 7448 × 1488 units, longer than de_dust2 (4864 × 5600 × 960) and half again as tall, which the platform canopies and the hall need. Ten counter-terrorist and ten terrorist spawns seat 20 players. Two bomb sites, no hostages, and the map marks buy zones for both teams. It is the heaviest kind of build the engine takes: 9,296 faces and 178 textures, all embedded in the .bsp with no external .wad at all, against 8,528 faces and 102 textures for cs_italy. The detail is carried by 201 sprite cyclers and 26 ambient sound sources, plus 15 non-solid decorative pieces and two breakables. The sky set is kievpass. On top of the .bsp the archive installs 28 models, six sounds and a radar overview.
