Description
A billiard eight ball filling almost the whole frame, painted in white and grey with a dark highlight sweeping across the upper left and the numbered disc with its "8" set just off centre. Thin runs of paint hang below the ball. The background is opaque black, so the wall takes a filled black square with the ball on it rather than a clean round decal.
A wad3 spray, 64x64 pixels. One pixel is one unit on the wall and a CS 1.6 player is 72 units tall, so the square stops a little short of player height. The palette holds 232 of 256 entries, spent on the grey shading of the sphere, and there is no transparency. The file is 6,296 bytes against a 16 KB tempdecal limit. The source page offered a raw 8-bit logo rather than a ready .wad, so the .wad was packed from it. Two internet shortcuts were in the same archive.
How to install the spray
- Download the file and rename it to tempdecal.wad (keep the extension).
- Copy it into the cstrike folder of your game (…/Half-Life/cstrike), replacing the existing file.
- Set the file to read-only — otherwise the game overwrites it when you touch the logo settings.
- In game, press T (the spray key) to paint it on any wall.
The options menu shows the logo in one color — in the game itself the spray keeps all its colors.
