Description
The whole blade is one deep crimson, darker where the fuller and the sawback teeth cut into it and lighter along the ground bevel, with the faint cloudiness of a stone rather than a flat coat of paint. Guard, grip and pommel are black, so nothing competes with the red. The M9 Bayonet is a fighting knife the US Army adopted in 1986, and with its scabbard it works as a wire cutter.
The view model holds 2,112 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 40 bones, under thirteen textures. Three cover the hands at 252×255, 124×126 and 252×123 under the porter’s own file names; the other ten are the parts of the knife, with 200×989 and 204×1001 for the faces of the blade and 68×800 for the grip wrap. There is no chrome map here, so the gleam along the edge is painted rather than reflected. The idle runs 360 frames, the draw 30 and each slash 36. What other players see was rebuilt to 1,512 polygons where the stock third-person knife has 112, and nine knife sounds are in the archive. Nothing covers the dropped knife, so on the ground it stays standard.
