Description
Flat royal blue covers the blade and the grip, and red circles of several sizes float over it, packed along the lower edge and thinning towards the spine; the point and the top edge are solid red, so the pattern looks like it is being poured from the tip backwards. Nothing here is shaded — both colours are laid down flat, which is what gives the finish its poster look. The M9 Bayonet is a fighting knife the US Army adopted in 1986, and its scabbard turns it into a wire cutter.
The view model is heavy for GoldSrc at 22,959 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 38 bones, and two 512×512 textures carry all of it: the stock Leet Crew arms and one map for the whole knife. There is no chrome map, so the light along the edge is painted rather than reflected. The idle runs 417 frames, the draw 38 and the stab 64. The archive holds the view model alone, so in other players’ hands and on the ground the knife stays standard, and no sounds come with it.
