Description
The Doppler marbling is there, but recoloured: a glossy scarlet blade with darker crimson swirls curling out of the fuller, so the finish reads as a red variant of a pattern usually seen in green. The hands wear black studded fingerless gloves with a small skull-and-crossed-blades patch on the back and red mesh at the wrist, and the M9 Bayonet is the fighting knife the US Army adopted in 1986.
The view model holds 32,704 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 38 bones, under six textures. One 512×512 file covers the arm, another the fingers, and two 508×502 maps take the left and right glove separately; the knife itself sits on a single 500×503 sheet, and a 64×64 chrome map adds the mirrored sheen GoldSrc fakes on metal. The idle runs 360 frames, the draw 30, each slash and stab 36. What other players see was rebuilt as well, at 10,125 polygons where the stock third-person knife has 112, on one 512×512 map. Eight knife sounds ship with the archive, and the draw sound is not among them. There is no dropped-knife model, so on the ground it stays standard.
