Description
The interior is a bunker faced with pale stone: tiled floors, walls of large blocks under a carved cornice, coffered ceilings and long straight corridors filled with wooden and red metal crates, with a narrow glass strip running down the middle of the floor in one hall. Another room has water behind glass panels on both walls, so the corridor doubles as a tunnel through a tank, and the plaster carries painted graffiti. Outside the bunker there is a fenced compound on grass and concrete, chain-link panels and red beams strung between the posts, a few trees, and a dry cliff face in the skybox.
The map is large in every direction, 7984 × 8136 × 3848 units, and heavy by engine standards: 14,421 faces on 104 textures, all of them embedded in the .bsp, which is close to three times the polygon count of de_dust2. Each side has 16 spawn points, so 32 players. No bomb sites, hostages or rescue zones; buy zones are on auto and land at the spawns. The floor holds twenty HE grenades and twenty flashbangs and nothing else. The interactive layer is dense: 14 breakable objects, 13 doors, 13 ladders, 11 see-through blocks, 7 ambient sound sources, a water volume and 18 sprite emitters. The archive also installs player models and a folder of sounds.
