Description

A suburban house at night, with a dark blue cloud bank hanging over the water on the horizon. The building has two floors, grey stone below and wooden cladding above, a black pitched roof and a chimney, and warm orange light behind every window. In front of it a paved lot is crowded with vehicles: two police cars, a police van, a box truck with a price sign on its side and an SUV by an open garage, all inside low walls with hedges and a gate. Inside, the stairwell is papered in red and cream stripes over wooden stairs and landings with green carpet edging. One room has floral wallpaper, a television on a wooden cabinet and a chest of drawers, with a red-lit doorway beyond. Another is fitted out as a shop: pink walls, patterned carpet, soda machines, glass display cases and a counter. A latticed window at the end looks out at the moon over the yard wall.

The map measures 2555 × 2115 × 688 units, low and compact next to the 4000 × 4288 × 1216 of cs_assault. Its geometry is 6,125 faces on 204 textures, and every one of them is packed into the .bsp, so the map needs no external .wad. The spawns are deliberately lopsided: 12 for the counter-terrorists against 2 for the terrorists, 14 players in all. There are no hostages; one bomb site is marked and both teams have buy zones, while 6 equipment entities hand out weapons at the start. The house is built out of 93 see-through decorative brushes and 31 doors, with 5 breakable objects, 2 pushable crates, a ladder, a beam effect and a rotating mechanism on top of that, plus 6 sound emitters. The sky is a custom set and there is no water. Alongside the map the archive installs 4 sounds of its own.
