Description
A lumpy cloud with the word FART written across it in blocky capitals, a thin puff trailing off to the left and paint dripping from the underside. Drawn in white and grey outlines on an opaque black background that fills the whole frame, so the wall gets a black square with the cloud inside it.
A wad3 file at 64x64 pixels. Since a pixel is a unit on the wall and a player in CS 1.6 is 72 units tall, the black square comes out a bit shorter than a person. The palette is almost full at 240 entries of 256, spent on the grey shading of the cloud, and there is no transparency at all. It weighs 6,296 bytes against the 16 KB tempdecal limit. The source page carried a raw 8-bit logo instead of a finished .wad, so it was packed into wad3 during import. Two .url shortcuts were in the archive as well.
How to install the spray
- Download the file and rename it to tempdecal.wad (keep the extension).
- Copy it into the cstrike folder of your game (…/Half-Life/cstrike), replacing the existing file.
- Set the file to read-only — otherwise the game overwrites it when you touch the logo settings.
- In game, press T (the spray key) to paint it on any wall.
The options menu shows the logo in one color — in the game itself the spray keeps all its colors.
