Description
Two round heads with hollow eyes and gaping mouths lean into each other, and under them the word DOUBLE is written in fat outlined letters across a smeared bar of paint. Three long runs drip from the bar towards the bottom edge. The drawing is white on black with a few grey midtones, and the background is opaque, so the wall gets a filled black rectangle around the whole thing.
Format wad3, 64×64 pixels. A pixel of the spray equals one unit on the wall, so next to a 72-unit player the square reaches roughly to the shoulders. The palette holds 238 entries of the 256 available, spent on greys. There is no transparency anywhere in the frame. The file weighs 6,296 bytes, well inside the 16 KB tempdecal limit at which a server takes the image as a player logo. The source page offered a raw 8-bit logo rather than a finished wad, so the wad was packed from it; the archive also contained two internet shortcuts.
How to install the spray
- Download the file and rename it to tempdecal.wad (keep the extension).
- Copy it into the cstrike folder of your game (…/Half-Life/cstrike), replacing the existing file.
- Set the file to read-only — otherwise the game overwrites it when you touch the logo settings.
- In game, press T (the spray key) to paint it on any wall.
The options menu shows the logo in one color — in the game itself the spray keeps all its colors.
