Description
Black tiger stripes are laid over a spectrum that shifts from magenta at the guard through blue and turquoise to green at the point, so the same striping reads a different colour along the length of the blade. The guard and its ring, by which a bayonet slides onto a rifle barrel, are left plain grey and stay out of the colour.
The view model holds 2,879 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 38 bones, and the striping is divided over sixteen textures: 1024×177 and 1024×194 for the two blade faces, 1024×94 for the spine, 152×641 for the ring, 272×468 for the grip, and small files for the fittings and the hand. There is no chrome map, so the colour shift is painted rather than lit. The idle runs 150 frames, the draw and every attack 28. The third-person model was rebuilt to 2,202 polygons where the stock one has 112, and nine knife sounds are in the archive. No file covers the dropped knife, so on the ground it stays standard.
