Description
The CS:GO crown graffiti: a wide, slightly lopsided crown with seven points, each capped by a small ball, and three diamond-shaped gems along the band. It is sprayed in white outline over a grey fill, with thin runs dribbling from the lower rim as though the can was held too long. The background is opaque, so the wall gets a black rectangle carrying the crown rather than the crown by itself.
The page held a raw 8-bit logo rather than a packed wad, so the file was built into wad3 at import time. The image is 64x64 pixels; a spray pixel equals a wall unit and a player in CS 1.6 is 72 units tall, which puts the crown at about chest to shoulder width on the wall. The palette is fairly full at 244 of 256 colours, and the frame has no transparency. The file takes 6,296 bytes, well within the 16 KB tempdecal.wad limit. Two internet shortcuts were packed with it.
How to install the spray
- Download the file and rename it to tempdecal.wad (keep the extension).
- Copy it into the cstrike folder of your game (…/Half-Life/cstrike), replacing the existing file.
- Set the file to read-only — otherwise the game overwrites it when you touch the logo settings.
- In game, press T (the spray key) to paint it on any wall.
The options menu shows the logo in one color — in the game itself the spray keeps all its colors.
