Description
A plump sand-coloured hamster in a rainbow mohawk helmet, wearing a green domino mask over its muzzle and a blue scarf at the neck, drawn in muted earthy tones with brown paint running off the bottom in long drips. Only the animal is opaque: the background around it stays transparent, so nothing but the hamster lands on the wall.
The archive carries a ready tempdecal.wad in wad3 format, 64x80 pixels, that is, taller than it is wide. One pixel is one unit on the wall and a player in CS 1.6 stands 72 units tall, so the hamster comes out about person-high. The palette is nearly used up with 242 colours of 256, 35.3% of the frame is transparent, and the file weighs 7,656 bytes, inside the 16 KB a server accepts for a player logo. Two internet shortcut files are packed alongside.
How to install the spray
- Download the file and rename it to tempdecal.wad (keep the extension).
- Copy it into the cstrike folder of your game (…/Half-Life/cstrike), replacing the existing file.
- Set the file to read-only — otherwise the game overwrites it when you touch the logo settings.
- In game, press T (the spray key) to paint it on any wall.
The options menu shows the logo in one color — in the game itself the spray keeps all its colors.
