Description
Three fat graffiti letters, G T G, in the chat shorthand for "got to go", built out of white outlines with grey shading and a looping tail scribbled under them that trails off into a single thin line. The picture has no transparency, so the wall takes a filled black square with the tag sitting on it.
The source page held a raw 8-bit logo rather than a finished wad, and the file was packed into wad3 on import. It is 64x64 pixels, and with a pixel equal to a unit on the wall against a player height of 72 units in CS 1.6, the square is a bit shorter than a man. The palette carries 237 colours of the 256 slots, no pixel in the frame is transparent, and the 6,296-byte file stays under the 16 KB a server accepts for a player logo. Two internet shortcut files are packed with it.
How to install the spray
- Download the file and rename it to tempdecal.wad (keep the extension).
- Copy it into the cstrike folder of your game (…/Half-Life/cstrike), replacing the existing file.
- Set the file to read-only — otherwise the game overwrites it when you touch the logo settings.
- In game, press T (the spray key) to paint it on any wall.
The options menu shows the logo in one color — in the game itself the spray keeps all its colors.
