The blade runs through pink, violet, blue and teal from the guard to the point, with black tiger stripes cutting across the bands, and the crossguard and the grip pick up the same colours. The hands are the game’s own: bare forearms in black fingerless gloves. The M9 Bayonet is a fighting knife adopted by the US Army in 1986; paired with its scabbard it works as a wire cutter.

The view model holds 2,144 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 40 bones, under thirteen textures. Three are the stock hand maps of the game; the other ten split the knife into parts, among them tall 200×989 and 204×1001 strips for the two faces of the blade and a 68×800 map for the grip. There is no chrome map. The idle runs 360 frames, the draw 30 and each slash 36. What other players see was rebuilt as well, at 1,512 polygons where the stock third-person knife has 112, and nine knife sounds ship with the archive. There is no dropped-knife model, so on the ground it stays standard.
